Our office is open M-F 8-5 and we serve groups 7 days a week

What paperwork is required?

If booking an event, we will send a contract to be signed and will need a 20% deposit.

How do I register my kid for camp?

You can register online or download a form for the camp for the age of your child, then fax to 806-488-2594 or email to info@cetacanyon.org

Will my cell phone work there?

Cell phones do NOT work at Ceta Canyon! If there is a need to use a landline right away please locate a Ceta Canyon staff member so that they can take you to a landline phone. Otherwise, you can drive up out of the canyon to the driveway with the bronze horse to receive cell reception.

Our staff is always on-call, in case you need assistance at your event.  There are call boxes located throughout the camp.

Is there WiFi available for leaders to use?

Yes. All of the main buildings have password-protected WiFi.

How do you handle medications for campers?

While camps are going on in the summer we have a paramedic that will hold and administer any medications.

What is the food like?

The food is fabulous. We have a great cook with a variety on the menu.

What if my child has food allergies?

If your child has a food allergy there is a place on the registration form to fill in that information

Are scholarships available?

Yes, if there is a need, please call for a form.

What if I need to cancel my registration?

We need as much time as possible to cancel. The deposit is non-refundable but may be used for another event within one year. Campers will get all but $10.00 of their registration fee back if there is at least a 10-day advance notice, 50% will be given back if notified 5 to 9 days in advance of the start date of camp. If it is less than 5 days there is no refund.

Who can come to Ceta Canyon?

We serve a variety of church denominations, Business Retreats, Schools, Colleges, Families, Individuals. Ceta offers, Lodging, Dining, Meeting Facilities, activity areas

Can I volunteer to help out?

Yes, there is a volunteer process with background checks.

Do I need to bring linens?

Yes, or you can request linens for a fee.

Are there laundry facilities available?

No, there are no laundry facilities available at Ceta Canyon.

Is Ceta Canyon wheelchair accessible?

Each lodge has designated rooms that are wheelchair accessible.

Can I fish?

Yes, in Sumner Pond. It is ¼ acre, 25 feet deep; catch & release fishing – Bass, Catfish, Bluegill, Sunfish.

What kind of events does Ceta offer?

Church Retreats, Leadership groups, Business Retreats, Reunions, Schools- Outdoor Education, University Groups, Summer Camps and Families.

Can I book my own retreat, family reunion, camp, etc.?

Yes! Please have a group leader call or email our office to make retreat plans.

Is there a minimum size for a retreat?

Yes, in order to book a retreat you must have 20 guests minimum.

What should I bring to camp?

Sheets, Blanket, or Sleeping Bag, Pillow (Special arrangements can be made ahead of time for linens at an additional cost.) Bible; Shampoo; Towel; Washcloth; Soap; Deodorant; Toothbrush; and other Toiletries; Sun Screen; Insect Repellent; Pen; Paper; Closed Toe Shoes for Camp Activities; appropriate clothing for warm days and cool nights; Flashlight; Water Bottle.

What activities are there?

Volleyball, basketball, 9 square in the air, foosball, gagaball, sand volleyball, giant tube slide, frisbee golf, jumping pillow, archery, catch and release fishing, hiking to the falls and in the summer we have a double water slide and swimming pool. We also have a challenge course with high ropes with a zip line and low ropes for team building.

What are some of the Wildlife at Ceta?

Mule Deer, Turkeys, Bobcats, Raccoons, Porcupine, Fox, Coyote, Squirrels, Armadillo, Rattlesnakes, Skunks, tarantulas, scorpions, insects and beautiful birds.
